Premiership - Everton v Newcastle
11 May 2008
Preview By Tipster FxDiamond (Portugal)
Venue: Goodison Park
Date: Sun, 11 May
Kick-off: 1500 BST
Everton manager David Moyes is likely to keep faith with the team which lost to Arsenal at the Emirates.
With Mikel Arteta recovering from a stomach operation, captain Phil Neville will remain in midfield with Tony Hibbert at right-back.
Everton will probably be 5th on this premiership edition, but the blues are not doing a good end of the season.
They losed the 4th place for Liverpool and they want to get the last 3 points to confirm the 5th place.
This team don't win a match since april 6th and they know they have here a good chance.
Newcastle saved the season on the last 8 matches with a very good run of victories.
Unfortunely they losed for Chelsea on the last week by 0-2 at home and they don't have more objectives for this premiership edition
For this match Striker Mark Viduka (Achilles) misses out for Newcastle, while midfielder Joey Barton is unavailable.
James Milner has not recovered from a foot injury and will not be risked by manager Kevin Keegan.
Last year Everton won at home by 3-0. This year they losed away by 3-2 and this is the best match to get revenge.
Arteta is always important in this team and i think the blues will win this one.
