1.HNL - Osijek v Varteks

This match is important for both teams. Osijek needs points if they want to keep any chances for UEFA Cup alive, and Varteks, if they lose, will find themselves only one or two points above relegation zone and in that case tremendous pressure will be on them to win Zadar in last round.

Osijek won in Split in midweek and they are full of confidence and motivation.With two wins here and in Zaprešić they could easily be 3rd at the end so this is must win for them. Osijek will miss reliable defender Smoje, imho big blow for their defense and don't know about Varteks(when is Mumlek coming back?). Varteks lost in Zagreb but they deserved at least one point, they were better in first half, had some chances in 2nd but Zagreb's FK's and Ibričić destroyed them.

Osijek in better position here, Varteks are team full of young talented playes but inconsistency is their biggest problem and they depend too much on few experienced players. Like i said in my last preview Zagreb-Varteks, they seemed to lost "element of surprise" and other teams are taking them more serious. Osijek should win this at the end, i'm satisfied with odds on straight win.

I'll maybe take over to, 1.99 are too high imho...
