1.HNL - Rijeka vs Cibalia Football betting preview

Things are clear here i think, Rijeka desperately needs 3 points and Cibalia wouldn't mind if they win only one, it would keep them miles away from 11th spot. Rijeka has some injury problems, or at least they had, still waiting for fresh info's. After initial crisis they finally started to improve their form and trashed relegated Međimurje with 5-2 in last round and kept their 3rd place before this match.

Cibalia will miss top-striker Malčić and useful DM Husić for this match. They won Šibenik in last round but that was far from being easy job. Šibenik were better most part of the match and created some nice opportunity but Cibalia managed to keep clean sheet.

No doubt about favourites here, odds are speaking for themselves. Rijeka simply has to win tommorow cause they have away match against Dinamo in last round and Slaven could overtake 3rd place in next two rounds.

Cibalia will play Međimurje at home in last round so they practically avoided relegation. If they win something tommorow ok, if not, again ok.

Over seems like the best choice here, odds on hosts are too low, and it could easily be another high-scoring match at Kantrida. Cibalia isn't under big pressure and can score even without Malčić against Rijeka's inconsistent defense, and Rijeka will do their part of the job for sure with at least two goals.
