Chennai Super Kings Kolkata Riders
Two of the undefeated teams take on each other to decide which one will remain undefeated heading out of this weekend.
The Chennai Super Kings have realyl taken the game away from the opposition with their strong batting lineup of Hayden, Hussey, Dhoni, Oram and even young Suresh Raina. While their bowling has been largely unimpressive, Gony has been the stand out bowler who has contributed something to their team and really troubled the opposition. And then there's that man Joginder Sharma, considered by me as the worst bowler in WORLD Cricket, the guy has been truly lucky to pick up as many wickets and given so few runs as he has, but I definitely think today is the day his luck will run out.
The Kolkata Knight Riders have only few more games with their international players like Ponting, McCullum who will then go for international commitments thats when it will be a problem for the Knight Riders who will need to pick up every win that they can. Kolkata should be happy to get Umar Gul coming into the squad which could bolster their bowling attack.
The wicket is really good with 410 runs being scored in the last game and its a used wicket from the last game and with it being dryer, it looks there will be a some turn for the spinners and the bounce could be lower, which will be a similar bounce like the Banaglore game when the Knight Riders played.
Expect quick runs coming during the first 6 overs for both teams with Hayden, Patel and Hussey among the first 3 from the Chennai squad and McCullum, Ganguly and Ponting among the first 3 for the Kolkata squad. Purely the inexperience of the bowling of the Chennai squad will go against them and also Kolkata win the toss and are going to bat first.
