Ligue 1 - Sochaux vs Lorient Football betting preview

Sochaux finally saw their unbeaten streak come to an end after a 3-2 loss last Saturday at Lens, in a game where they had many chances to take at least a point.

Coach Gillot was disappointed by the result but not by the way they played, and even if Sochaux are safe, it looks like they’ll play hard till the last game. For the clash against Lorient only Perquis is out, while Richert is doubtful.

Lorient is in free style for some time in the league, and their match at St Etienne showed that the team is not very concentrated t the moment, as coach Gourcuff said they have too many technical problems and make a lot of mistakes defensively. Moreover, Lorient has still too many missings such as Le Pen, Vahirua and Bourhani who are important players.

Now both teams are totally on different trends at the moment. Sochaux is playing at a top level, producing many chances, grabing a lot of points, while Lorient still is a decent side but without talent and which lack creativity. Sochaux has some problems in home games, but I think that their latest display have been very solid to earn the 3 points in this one, as Lorient remains a poor team away from home.
