PAOK Thessaloniki Asteras Tripolis
While the average odds on home win around @1.68, Pinnacle flying high again with an amazing @1.84 that will not stand so high till tomorrow.
This is actually a fight for the 5th place that leads to play-offs, but it is coming to a bad period for Asteras cause they have to face very important injuries, while strong at home PAOK is ready and consider the game as the game of the season.
After a fantastic first round to the league as a newcomer to the division, Asteras started falling down like a paper as expected. Coach sacked, style of play has been totally changed, and most important they have so many first eleven players out of action. Cardoso, Masado, Roggerio, Pavoni, Jean and Flavio are all out of the squad selected for the game. This leaves them without goal scoring power, and a lot of fridge players will come to the bench.
To the home side PAOK has to give everything for all three points to keep the play-offs chase alive, otherwise the season is over. Good news for PAOK as only Melissis (Defender) is missing out due to injury, otherwise everyone else is fit to play. Probably PAOK will field again their classic 4-4-2 with Glen Salmon and Christodoulopoulos in front, while Sergio Conseicao and Ricardo Veron will fill the midfield line and make the play.
Asteras will try to defend and not to lose as first priority, the same they did against Olympiakos, but this time they have to play without a lot of important players. PAOK is ready to bounce back in victories and continue their race for play-offs. Can't see anything else than a home win here, full stakes for me, as this is the game of the season for PAOK.
