Bundesliga - Schalke 04 v Duisburg

Schalke have advanced to the last eight of CL and have beaten Arminia, the weakest team in the Bundesliga at the moment, to slightly reduce the pressure on themselves and on coach Mirko Slomka. Today they face Duisburg and have a chance to close the gap to places 2-4.

Schalke will have Rafinha and Fabian Ernst, both were suspended against Bielefeld, back in the starting 11. Schalke did play a good game against Arminia, especially in the first half, in the second Ariminia pushed forward but it was Schalke who scored the goal.

Duisburg are fighting for survival along three other teams. Last week the have drawn against Hansa. Today they have one big missing to add, Ishiaku, their top goal scorer with seven goals so far, got injured in the game against Rostock. They are still without two important defenders Schlicke and Lamey.

I simply rate Schalke as a better side, they have no selection problems at the moment and Duisburg do, so I believe they should win this game by two goals.
