I loved this one from the moment I saw it. Good value for money for what should be an easy win for Penguins.
Penguins coming of a good 4-2 win against Washington. Crosby’s back and he underlined his importance with 2 goals against Washington. Penguins are 4th in Eastern Conference with 85 points and are 19-10-5 at home and 5-3-2 in last 10. They are still fighting for play off spot and no doubt are motivated to win every game. Match up against lowly Sabres can only help that cause. Penguins are leading this season’s series 3-0 and will try to sweep the series tonight. In Malkin and Crosby Penguins have great goal scorers for my liking, but unfortunately they will miss the service of Sykora and Talbot for tonight’s game. Reasonable loss these two I would say. Hossa is still not fit and should only play this coming Sun after a long lay off. Goalie Ty Conklin, won all three games against the Sabres in Fleury's absence, posting a 0.65 GAA and a shutout.
Penguins have won 2 out of last 5 with only 1 out of 5 being at home in that stretch.

Sabres come into this game literally depleted in defence. Dmitri Kalinin (shoulder) and Jaroslav Spacek (chest) are out as a result of picked up injuries against Rangers, Nathan Paetsch (neck) is a big doubt. Henrik Tallinder will be back and Mike Weber has been called up from Rochester for the second time this year. Jason Pominville could even play in defence tonight (that’s how bad things are for Sabres in defence) if Paetsch won’t recover in time or if there are any other injuries. OMG things are not looking good for Sabres, considering Crosby will appear for the first time on home ice after his injury lay off, this game could end in 2 goal winning margin win for Penguins. Sabres have lost last 3 with the latest loss coming against Rangers in SO. Sabres are 9th with 75 points in Eastern Conference, 4 behind Flyers. Sabres are 15-14-6 away from home and 3-4-3 in last 10.

So taking into consideration Sabres defensive worries and Penguins great performance against Capitals paired with Crosby’s return (first appearance on home ice since his lay off), I’m going with Penguins. They really need the points and know that this could potentially be an easy win if they pick up where they left off against Washington. If Sabres can somehow rearrange their defence tonight then they might have a chance otherwise I can only see one outcome – Penguins win. IMO Penguins should have enough in the tank to win this in regulation at these great odds. Question is: how many Crosby will score? Good Luck!
