NHL - Detroit Red Wings v Chicago Blackhawks
12 March 2008
Preview By Tipster Figo (England)
So Detroit have won 3 consecutive games and are looking for their fourth win after their massive slump. All bad things are in the past and with new players like Stuart and recalled Ericsson they are not so bad in defence. With only defenseman Chris Chelios (knee) and forwards Daniel Cleary (broken jaw) and Tomas Holmstrom (groin) missing, Detroit are back to their best I believe. Current series are in favour of Blackhawks, they lead 4-1, so all the more chance Detroit will want revenge! Detroit defeated Nashville, Blues and Sabres during their winning streak. Hasek has been on fire sine his come back, he improved to 8-1-1 with a shutout and a 1.98 goals-against average in his last 10 games.
They have won last 3 and 3 out of last five over all.

All 4 Blackhawks wins did come with help of Khabibulin and he will be out for tonight's game! Lalime who will start tonight hasn't faced Detroit this season and is 1-10-0 with a 4.85 GAA in 11 career starts against them. Chicago do not boast great power play nor power kill ranking and are 27th and 16th respectively. They have lost to Oilers and San Jose in their last 2 games.
Blackhawks have lost last 2 and 3 out of last 5.

Detroit are simply on fire and should have no problem disposing of this Blackhawks team. Interestingly they have lost 3 out of last 5 away from home. Hey, we all know what Detroit are like at Joe Louis Arena - nearly perfect! I have no doubt this will be an easy win for Detroit in regulation. High stakes please and Good Luck!
