Divizia A - Ceahlaul v Farul

This round of Romanian Football (Liga I) seems to promise a lot.The first match is at Piatra Neamt where local team Ceahlaul host Farul Constanta.

In the last round Farul played at home with Gloria Buzau.In that match, i had a pick on draw or away win, and the match finished just as i had expected with a 0-0 score.Farul hasn't been able to make any significant changes during the winter break and this can turn out to be fatal for them at the end of the season.For now they stand on the 16 th position on the tables 2 points away from the 14th position which is relegation free.

But the relations battle is quite complicated this season.From the 10th position until the 16th all have between 22 and 18 points.So, just four points which can't bring any piece and quite to any of the teams.As if that wasn't enough last last team on the tables, Universitatea Cluj, has only 14 points but i believe they have what it takes to pull it out this season and avoid relegation.

What i'm trying to say that is that Ceahlaul and Farul are in a tight battle to avoid relegation, although one is 12th spot and one on 16th.Only two points separate the two teams.If Farul win they would gain some very important points, while if Ceahlaul win, they will consolidate their middle table position.

During this week Ceahlaul has brought two new players to the team.Cristocea and Croitoru, both from Steaua were transfered this week to Ceahlaul and are said to be in the starting line-up in this match.Although they haven't got used to their new team yet, i believe that they will able to have an impact on the match, in favor of Ceahlaul.From what i understand, Farul will welcome, left defender, Maxim back in the team, but in the end i don't believe it will make that much difference.They didn't manage to get a win at home against Gloria Buzau, so i doubt that they will manage to take anything away to Piatra Neamt.

Farul are in a bad position right now and the players now it, and you can see the tension reflect in way they play.Ceahlaul are at home, and they now that if they get a win here, they take an important step in avoiding relegation this season.

So, taking in consideration the home advantage, the new transfers, and the "better morale" , i see Ceahlaul winning this match.I've already placed my medium stake bet at an 1.70 odd.
