Greek Super League
Ergotelis Chania PAOK Thessaloniki
Opening game of 23th fixture at Greek Super League.
Home team Ergotelis allready relegated except if there will be a miracle, away team PAOK is fighting to get into the playoffs, 8 games left, and WINunited offers the amazing @2.60, which will not be higher than 2.15 at Saturday!
PAOK after the winter transfers is a totally different team, and the revived squad allready brought the desired results. They thrashed their local rivals Aris 3:0 with three fast goals from the half time, they beat Apollon 0-2 making their first away win, and they drew at home against champions Olympiakos having a missed penalty that could change the game.
Serbian giant (1.91cm) Goran Gavrancic (Dinamo Kiev) stabilised the center of the defence, and together with Ruud Knol they will be the two 'towers' of PAOK defence on Saturday. Midfield is also totally transformed to a higher level with the addition of Argentinian Mattias Ricardo Veron (Siena), a player who made all the play for PAOK with his great skills to their last three games. Maybe the attacking line isn't yet to their best, with Glen Salmon who is running a lot, and Serbian Ivica Iliev as a sub or partner, but as long time passes Sergio Conseicao is finding his form and i suppose he will be given more time to the game against Ergotelis.
All in all, PAOK will have a very good squad for this game with only Antonio Gonzalez missing, and they will give all to win this must win game, against the weakest side of the league that has nothing else to play except pride.
