Darts Tournament - Manley v Phil Taylor Darts betting preview

I've been watching the Premier League Darts on TV Since the start of last season. Its not something I bet on a lot but this one looks to good to pass up.

I see Lordburt has written a preview on this match and I have to agree that even though shortish at 1.33, Taylor shouldn't have too much trouble beating Manley. I'd even be tempted to take Taylor with a -3.5 handicap. He must be hurrting after losing 2 of the opening 3 matches (hadnt lost a premier league match till this season) and will want to get the confidence back with an emphatic victory tonight.

The bet I'm most keen on though is the Most 180's market and I have to say I was extremely surprised to see Taylor at 1.4 to win this. Taylor has been using new darts in this cmpetition and has been scoring well with them. He said he's never felt so comfortable throwing at the trebles. The problem he is having is hitting his doubles. He said he knows what the problem is though and he's working to put that right.

So far in his 3 matches Taylor's match 180's have been 3, 4 and 2. Not exceptional but consider this, Manley has not hit 1 single 180 yet in 3 mathes !!

The fact he throws quite fat barrelled darts certainly doesnt help him in getting 180's either.

These odds should be more like 1.2.
