Champions League - Arsenal vs AC Milan Football betting preview

An exciting match-up here in the Champions League.The way i see it it's "the past" meets "the future".Arsenal represents the future while A.C. Milan is an almost perfect representation of the past.

Experience is essential in football, but it can only go so far.If you haven't got the speed and agility any more than the experience can't really help you that much.Milan is the perfect example.I believe that it is clear to everyone that they can't cope with the level of Seria A no more.I have watched most of their matches this season and i have to say that their goals always seem to come so hard, after pushing and pushing.It was clear they needed a powerful, young and talented striker.Ronaldo had recover and then came disaster.An injury that ended his career.

A lot of articles were written about the new kid Paloschi after the scored the winning goal against Siena just 20 seconds after he entered in the game.If you ask me, he is just something that the press has to write about.Nothing important there.At least not for the moment.Inzaghi and Gilardino aren't the working kind of players, so when i take a look at Arsenal's defense i see no way Milan can score.

Kaka would be the only player that has that special explosion and can surpass the Arsenal midfield.

On the other side, there isn't really much to say.Arsenal is a well known team , which is well lead by Arsene Wanger.He put together an impressive bunch of players that could dominate the EPL for years to come.All for them are young and hungry for results.They were so near the Champions League cup a few years back, but that season was destined for Barcelona.

Currently Arsenal are on top position in the EPL and they are also looking for a top spot in the Champions League.Milan is their first opponent in the knock out stage.When i take a look at the players the two teams have, i keep on wondering how can Arsenal not qualify.Their midfiled line Denilson Fabregas, Hleb, Flamini along with a very efficient Adebayor in front, i see no way for Milan to get away from this double match-up without receiving at least 2 goals.

The odds for Arsenal to qualify are quite generous when we take in consideration all the facts.The only obvious reason why the odds are still so high (good value) is because of Milan's reputation and good records in the International European Competition.But there is a saying "what goes up, must come down"; and Milan have been "up" for a long time in european competition and i believe it's time for them to go down (at least for a while).

There would be a lot of things to be said here, but i don't consider them so relevant; so i'm just going to say that my money is on Arsenal, the next generation (of Champions).
