And now my last preview for this week CL action. I can’t see anything else than a Barcelona win in this one. I know their form is quite poor and not what one would expect from players of Barca. But I just can’t see Celtic stopping Barca here. Their passing style will prevail I believe. I know that possession of about 65% won’t win you a game if you don’t score but the ball possession will probably look like this on Wednesday. I expect nine Celtic players to defend with Vennegoor of Hesselink as the only striker supported by McDonald. But Celtic have in my opinion only two very good players – Boruc and Nakamura. The rest are just average or even below. I know that results against Milan this year and last year show they can compete BUT Barca with their passing style is not Milan. They surely can beat Celtic away and I believe that’s what they’re going to do. I expect Celtic will try to create danger in Barca’s half mostly by Nakamura’s free kicks. He’s brilliant at that and Barca will have to be aware. Boruc has all it takes to stop Barca from scoring and as much as I would like my countryman to be the hero for Celtic once again and to see Celtic progress to the next round I’m betting against them. I just can’t see this game going any other way than Barca’s victory. The key in this game should be the ball possession, Barca feel very comfortable with passing the ball around and with the attacking players they have and Celtic’s defenders I see them winning this one.
