NHL - Vancouver v Edmonton Oilers
16 February 2008

Today the Vancouver Canucks host the Edmonton Oilers. My pick for this one is on the over of 5.
Edmonton got off to a slow start , however they have been picking it up on both the defensive and offensice end of the ice. Edmonton has been consistent to putting up 4 or 5 goals per game. Although they have some of the worst offensive stats in the league right now , lately they have been playing exceptional offense.
The Canucks have been putting up a good amount of goals per game also , 3 in their last game and 4 in their game before that one. This is another team whos stats dont tell the truth about their offense , however The Canucks have been struggling on the defensive end of the ice lately , Allowing 5 goals in their last game and 6 goals to colorado a few nights ago.
The way these two teams matchup against eachother with their past paced offense and high number of shots on goal , this one looks good to go over 5.
