Couldnt resist this bet at these odds. This is pure value if you consider the odds for each team to score. Best you can get individually is 1.28 for Villa and 1.46 for Fulham. Bookies wont let you place a double like this as its a related bet so you get reduced odds of 1.72 ish for the double. So 1.9 at Bet365 simply has to be punted on the grounds of value.
But it also looks a decent shout on the stats. Especially if you consider that in Aston Villa's last 10 League matches, both teams have scored. Villa last failed to score way back in mid September and Fulham have only 3 Clean Sheets all season. 2 of those away and 1 at Craven Cottage. The one at home was against Derby in October when Derby hadnt scored away from home against anyone. I think if you consider those things you would have to say its pretty nailed on that Villa will score today. So its whether Fulham will score today or not really...
Both teams are fairly full strength, with Ashley Youngs suspension the only main first teamer missing.
This is a huge match for Fulham, lose today and they stay 2nd bottom, 5 points behind Birmingham above and 7 points from safety. Win and they stay in touch with those above. They simply must go out to win this game and I see them playing plenty of attacking football. Goals should be on the cards and over 2.5 goals @ 2.1 looks tempting but not as tempting as the 1.9 for both to score as the 1-1 could be a real possibilty with 48% of these sides respective home and away games ending in draws this season.
Good Luck ........
