The English Premier League Monday match brings Aston Villa in Liverpool to face the local team. It's been 3 matches now and Liverpool are still without a win.All 3 matches were draw. And as that wasn't enough, the teams that Liverpool faced weren't top ones. The question is whether Liverpool can go another match without a win. They play this match at home and should be looking to make up for the disappointing 1-1 results in the last home match against Wigan.
Liverpool is one of the top teams that is not affected by the African Nations Cup.They should take advantage of this period and i think they will. It's time for Liverpool to show that they can really play some soccer.Although they are without a win for 3 games, the truth is that they haven't been playing at their full potential for the last 7.It is true that during these last 7 matches they have had a 4-1 win over Portsmouth, but if you ask me, that was more of a lucky results as Portsmouth was passing a bad period and that match was decided quickly when Liverpool managed to score two early goals, one of which was a lucky own goal.
Aston Villa on the other side are on a good run and on the good position on the table. They are on 7th position, a much too better one, if you ask me.I see them somewhere between 9th and 15th place. As i said they are on a good run having been without a loss for 6 matches.Sooner or later a loss has to come for them, and why not today when they have to face a top team that is hungry for points.
Neither team is missing any important players. The odds for a Liverpool win are somewhere around 1.55 but some bookmakers offer 1.60 or even a little bit higher.I took 1.61 at BET 365, but i believe that the odd will go down. So, my money is on a Liverpool win.GL to all.
