Sunderland have a reasonable home record so far and although Villa are playing reasonably well at the moment (despite losing 3-1 to portsmouth last weekend) I dont think they'll be relishing the trip to the North East for this game. My radar is off at the moment predicting Win/Draw/Loss results so I've been trawling some other stats and this is where this bet has come from. Sunderland to gain 2 or more corners than Aston Villa. Why ???
Sunderland at Home have gained on average 7.57 corners and conceeded on average 3.57. Aston Villa away from home have gained on average 4.43 and conceeded on average 9.43.
Sunderland havent lost a corner match bet at home yet this season. Drawing one 9-9 with Reading and winning all other 6 matches by at least 2 corners. Aston Villa have lost every corner match bet away from home this season by at least 2 corners. The odds look pretty decent for this bet but I'm keeping stakes reasonable.
