Premiership - Manchester United v Derby
There is a massive gulf in class between these 2 teams, United comteting at the top of the league and for Champions League glory whilst Derby are doomed to a season of misery. You just cant hold out any hope for Derby at Old Trafford tomorrow, look at their respective records.....
Man United at Home .... Played 8 Won 7 Drawn 1 Scored 16 Conceeded 1
Derby County away .... Played 8 Drawn 1 Lost 7 Scored 0 Conceeded 20
United are only really missing Gary Neville and Paul Scholes at the moment but the wealth of talent in their squad means they dont really miss those players, certainly they wont tomorrow. Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Brown shouldnt have too much trouble shackling the likes of Miller, Earnshaw. And Rooney, Tevez and Ronaldo will be surely rubbing their hands at the prospect of the hatful of opportunities they'll get against an awful derby defense. Derby are likely to be without Claude davis and Gary Teale as well as Marc Edworthy but I dont reckon it would make a difference if they were playing. United will stroll this one.
United have wins to nil at home against Spurs, Sunderland, Chelsea, Wigan, Blackburn and Fulham. Derby havent scored away at Man City, Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal, Reading, Fulham, Villa and Sunderland. Cant see them scoring at Old Trafford, can you ???
A Derby moment of magic or a Man United calamity is the only way this bet looses as United are certain to score. You can hardly even get a bookie to lay you that bet !!!!
Good Luck......
