Wild had a storming start to the season, winning 7 of 8, but has bee rather poor lately, loosing 9 of last 13.They played good against Canucks last game, nut failed 4:2 after unconvincing performance in the attack.They will look for their top class attacker Demitra to return and aid the Wild star Gaborik (also had two goals against the Canucks).
Wild are a solid defending team that works on the basis of fast outbreaks of attacks.
Columbus is also on downhill, loosing 8 of the last 10.They had a good start for the season, but are now somehow realizing that they dont really have a squad with a whole season consistency.Especially their last match against the Panthers, wasnt to convincing and the whole team looked slow and not too focused.Their problem is also bad form of main goalie Leclaire who isnt performing anything like he did at the start of the season.
Minnesota has the better team here, and they just have to have couple of good games to get back to their real play.
Besides all this,Minnesota has very good home record against the Jackets, beating them 4 in a row ,once this season.
The Wilds Gaborik alone, should prevail over the Columbus star Nash, and if Demitra plays today, win will stay at home.
