UEFA Cup - FC Copenhagen v Panathinaikos
8 November 2007
Preview By Tipster Lego (Denmark)
Fc Copenhagen have not performed 100% over the last 3-4 games. They are having a hard time scoring goals lately. This cost them a embarresing 0-1 defeat at home ground against poor Randers 2 rounds ago in the danish liga. But they turned things a little around in thier last game against AGF, allthough AGF is upcoomers, winning 2-0 away.
FC copenhagen has a very good european record at home. Biggest results being beating Man United 1-0 and Celtic 3-0 in last years Champions league. They will be missing key defence player Michael Gravgaard for this match as he got a red card in the qualifications against Lens.
Overall they have played well so far in this season still, allthough not as dominant as usually.
Panathinaikos have come off great in the Greek leauge only 1 point after AEK. Especially their defence has been very strong, only conceeding 1 goal after 7 matches.
Their way to the cup was pretty easy as they beat the former slovakic champions Petrzalka 5-1 total.
Panathinaikos strong defence combined with FCK's poor offence will not produce many goals here. Maybe i'll even back 0-0 with a small stake too.
But anyway I dont see many goals scored this evening in Copenhagen.
