Olympiakos Real Madrid
Ok.Day 4 in the UEFA Champions league where Real travels to Greece looking to confirm previous win over Olympiacos.
Real defeated Olympiakos in Madrid during the day 3 match with a result of 4:2, but truly the result doesnt reflect solid performance of Olympiacos. They played with only 10 men for almost the whole match and showed some real sharpness in counter attacks - wheras Real showed that the defence isnt the best aspect of their game.
Olympiacos is coming of a 2:1 win over PAOK (after being down 0:1) and Real is after defeat from well playing Sevilla 2:0(truly the result could have been even higher).
I get to watch Real almost every game and I can say that they play very opened football that often results in conceeding goals even from much weaker teams. On the other hand they have the ability to score, especially with great creative mind of Brazilian Robinho.Sneijder is expected to return for Real, which should give Real even more of the attacking taste. As I mentioned, defence isnt the brightest side, and I dont see Metzelder or Heinze/Marcelo or even out of form Cannavaro as the tightest defence.
Experienced Djordjevic should be the driving force for home team, creating chances form deep midfield, releasing wide counter attacks.Lua Lua and Galetti should provide serious danger for leaking Madrid defence.
Greeks know that they can score against Real, especially driven by their very (play wise) positive display in Madrid.
They will let Real come into attack and then hit on counters. Both teams can and should score.IMO, this is equal matter 2:2 being possibility.
