NHL - Florida Panthers v Tampa Bay Lightnings
6 November 2007
Preview By Tipster Moah (Slovakia)
Traditional match up.Florida are mixed feelings 6-8-0, differeing between very good and very poor performance from game to game.Their main strenght is home ice, going 4-2-0.They have some very productive attackers - Jokinen,Horton, Weiss,
Stumpel, Zednik but the defnce leaks from every side.Goalie Vokoun does relatively good job, but Florida simply throws too much into attck and defence collapses time after time.
Tampa is impossible on away games, loosing all 6 road games, scoring only 2 goals in the last 3.Otherwise they are 5-7-1.
They posses some great offense power - Lecavaliers,St.Louis, Richards,Prospal.Their defence has some good players but for now they havent been too solid.Goalkeeping is not all that good either - Holmqvist giving up average 3,2, denis 4,1.
Traditionally, these are high scoring games - last 10 have shown average of 7,1 goals per game.
Today, Lightnings will look for a first road win.Florida will look to keep solid home display going. Both will play open hockey trying to outscore the opposition. This way they will enter 3rd period with one team leading and then goal chase till the end.
Panthers,IMO,are to take the win here with goal fireworks till the 60th minute - I expect empty net goal.Result 5:3 feels good here.Finding over 5,5, take it with high stakes, 6 is good as well.
