Ok.Good odds here as Oilers look to score against Backstrom in Wild net, visiting Minnesota.
What a record Backstrom has against Edmonton - 5-0-0 with supreme 0,4 GAA and three clean sheets. And that is some serious statistics.Backstrom has also been huge reason for Wild 8-4-2 this season.Wild is coming from solid win over Calgary 4:1 after loosing 5 games consecutive games on their cold streak.Demitra is doubtfull for todays game (leg injury). However,Wild still have Gaborik,Rolston to step up and do the job.
Oilers are poor 5-9-0, loosing last 2 games at home. They have rather weak team and even that was shorten - out are Souray ,Pitkanen among bigger names.I dont see Oilers doing anything special this year, and they are focusing on building brand new team over next two seasons (the ambitions are not too high).
Minnesota has been showing some great defence this season, and they are facing team which they been good against lately, especially at home - Wild won 4 of their last 5 games on the home ice vs.Oilers, all but one being under 5.
After watching their last game against Calgary, Im really impressed by Wild performance in the defence. On the other hand, there isnt much in the Oilers attack (best scorer Horcoff with only 4 goals).Minnesota will take Oilers apart bit by bit - they wont rush at them but suck them in and then overcome them in fast breaks.
This is Wild win here tonight, and I believe they will keep in their style, something like 4:1.If you find under 5,5, take it.
