After two opening games between LA Kings and Anaheim Ducks in London this weekend, NHL starts up in the US. Out of the 4 games this night, my eyes fell on the total between Colorado and Dallas. First some team update:
Colorado didn't get a playoff spot last year as they were 1 point behind Calgary. Winning 15 of the last 19 games didn't do much help, as they started the season poor. For this season they have done 2 big free agent signings in Ryan Smyth (F) and Scott Hannan (D). This will strengthen both defense and offense, and I think that Colorado have good chances of reaching the playoffs this year. Pre season stats show 4-0-2 and 25-19. They have scored an average of 4,16 and conceded 3,16. In the injurie front Hejduk are ques while backup goalie Theodore are doubtful for this game.
Dallas have lost a lot of players during the summer, and haven't been able to replace them as they should have. Players that have left are for example Klemm, Nagy, Lindros, Barnaby and Sydor. But they have done a good preseason, with 4-2-1 and 30-28. 4,28 goals for and 4 goals against in average. Ribero are ques for this game.
Last year Colorado averaged 3,01 goals against and 3,26 goals scored per game. Dallas had 2,35 against, which were 3rd best in the league, while they only scored 2,65.
Goalies will probably be Budaj vs Turco.
Budaj had 2,68 GAA last year and 90,5%
Turco were mean with 2,23 GAA and 91,0%
Last 10 meetings have ended 7-3 OU, and 3 out of 4 ended over last year. These 4 games averaged 8,75 goals!!
Both teams have scored a lot of goals pre season and also in their past meetings. The only thing that holds me back a bit is Turco. He is one of the best goalies in the league and can be very hard to beat if he plays the way he did last year. But I think 5,5 is a bit low for this match and have to try 5/10 on over 5,5 @ Pinny, odds 1.952.
Good luck:)

What makes a bet ?
I’ve often wondered how other guys decide whether to bet or not. I know personally that there are no strict adhereances that I abide by ( there should be……but there isn’t), and I just wondered how you guys out there make a bet, and what makes you bet the amount that you do.
I generally like [...]
