Portsmouth - Reading
Pompey have impressed me so far this season, especially when it comes to playing at home. 3 games played, 1 win and 2 draw, one of them against Liverpool. The only thing that scares me a little bit is that they have had a hard time scoring a lot of goals. I've had a very hard time deciding if i should pick Portsmouth to win or below 2.5 goals, especially because they have had a clean sheet for the last 300 minutes.
Their back four, Sol Campbell,Sylvain Dystin, Hermann Hreidarsson and Glen Johnson looks very stong and i doubt that Reading will have a chance scoring tomorrow.
So there we have the answear to the "Why reading shouldn't score" question.
To the next question, why shouldn't Portsmouth score a lot of goals against reading? Well, so far, as i said, they havent scored a lot of goals this season. The next thing is that their best striker Kanu have had a slight injury i think so there's a possibility that he wont play tomorrow.
Well, Reading haven't impressed at all on the goal scoring side. They've managed to score one goal away so far so well, why should they be able to score against a team with such great defenders?
Oh, one last thing. Remember that Pompey won against Blackburn last match. The last time they won 2 games in a row was in december last year.
Cheers and Good Luck!
