Gambrinus Liga - Slovan Liberec vs Teplice Football betting preview

I have to try this bet. The odds have started to drop and that was the last thing that made me taking it.

Liberec fights for the title, while Teplice have nothing to play for. Well, they applied for the Intertoto cup, but the possibility of participating in this contest is fairly a mission impossible, as Sparta wouldn't have to finish in the first two spots (guaranteeing a place in the Champions League qualification) and would have to win league cup final played on Thursday. And that's not all, Teplice would have to finish on the fifth place.

But back to the match. Liberec will miss several players for this match. Midfielder Singlar got injured in the last match at Sparta and is out for the season. Another missing player is Frejlach, but this guy is a long-term injuree, so this missing I don't consider that important. Another missing player in Liberec is probably 19-years young tallented forward Blazek. He participated in yesterday's training, but was only running around the pitch in a slow temp. A question-mark is above the start of midfielder Hodur. He missed the match with Zlin at home, but was allowed to play at Sparta. Unfortunately that match was another blow to his injured leg. He participated in the yesterday's training as well, but it will be decided just before the game whether or not he'll be allowed to start. In the atch against Sparta he was substituted by 17-years-young Vlasko from Slovakia. Everybody was surprised by the trainer's action, but he proved he could be a great player in the future. On the other hand, he missed training during the week as he carries some minor injury from the Sparta match as well. Another two players missing will be young Polak and Dohnalek. They've just returned from a tournament of U19 NT in England.

Teplice have their own injury problems as well. In the net will be a goalkeeper from the reserve team, which lost last Saturday at Slavia B 4:0. They will miss creative nmidfielder Dort, wh is in teplice on loan from Liberec. Another two missing players are defenders Merzic and Valenta and midfielder Benat. Defender Kaufman is questionnable. The advantage of Teplice is a young and promising team. Several players from their squad play for young national teams. And there is a great forward in their squad named Dzeko, second best scorer in the league, who scored his thirteenth goal in the last round.

Liberec, on the other hand, have another great forward in their team - Nezmar. He scored 4 goals in the last 4 matches and seems to have found a good form.

People comming to see the match can buy tickets for 10,- CZK (0,3 EUR) what is undoubtably a good move by the Slovan's management to attract fans providing the home team good support.

And this is my conclusion: both teams will have to play in more or less provisional squads. Teplice usually had problems with their goalkeepers and I doubt the reserve GK will be better than those ones from the first team. Liberec, since selling their GK Cech to Russia concedes more goals now. Hauzr is not bad, but he lacks the quality of Cech. Both teams are relatively strong in the offense. Besides Liberec need 3 points, while Teplice can play more casually.

I like these odds and as you can see, the chances are not bad.
