Low odds, but still too high. Bwin is probably the first bookie who came with an offer for the tommorow's stage and I think they made a huge mistake.

Tommorow's stage is one of four stages with a summit finish. It means it is one of the stages where Riccardo Ricco should prove his excellent climbing abilities (he's been a pro-cyclist for just 2 years but registered 5 stage victories!!! - all in stages with summmit finishes). He is a big hope for the Italian cycling. His main role is helping Gilberto Simoni, the leader of Saunier Duval. But before the start of the Giro the team managers did not hide the fact they expect him to go for a victory in one of the four stages mentioned.

Paolo Bettini is mainly a good spurter. He can get over hills as well, but it's impossible to compare him with Ricco. Besides, he showed some climbing skills only in one-day races. And Giro is a very long and difficult race. He would like to win the points classification, what means he has to finish. Therefore he has to ride cautiously and spare powers whenever it's possible. Especially the last week of Giro's going to be pretty hard. Therefore I expect him to take the Wednesday's stage easily, as well as other spurters.
