Bozen vs Vienna Capitals
Bolzano don't have a chance to finish in top four and pick opponent for playoffs. Istead, they will be picked. They have only a small chance for fifth place but it does not matter at all due to the picking system.
Bolzano has mad some changes in their roster during international break, I believe they are already focusing and preparing for the playoffs.
Vienna are ranked first and I'm sure they want to keep it. There are three more games to go, and the winner of intermediate round will have the home advantage in the complete playoff. Final ranking will also have an influence on CHL participation.
Vienna are 3 point ahead opponents, and were quite dangerous in away games in regular season.
Vienna have won 4 of their 5 games played against Bolzano this season, two in regular time, two in OT or SO. The only Bolzano win was an OT win.
All these facts say to me that Vienna is stronger, more motivated, therefore I expect them to win the game, however, Bolzano on home ice with their new players, and with former Vienna coach, Tom Pokel on the bench are able to make Capitals' job more difficult.
