Poland vs Netherlands
Netherlands lost their first match at this EURO against arch rivals Germany, but even with that poor performace (that came largely in the last 3rd of the match) I'm not ready to give up on the dutch team. There is not point of contention in the fact that Netherlands has an impressive squad (maybe that's their undoing, too many "stars", too many much too lauded divas, it seems). But Abbingh&Co. played for most part of that game high quality handball, and I'm sure that Helle Thomsen will be able to temper and quell (at least sometimes) her players attacking exuberance.
Poland on the other hand looked very poor against France, without the mastermind of this nondescript team that rose to the pinnacle of womens handball for two WC in a row (Kim Rasmussen) and without their leader on the field, Kudlacz they seem capable no more of troubling the big guns like France or Netherlands. The last time these two teams met was in Denmark, a year ago one in the group stage where Netherlands won by 11, once in the semis where Groot&co. won by 5. Anything other than a clear victory for "Oranje" would be quite a surprise for me.
