In the last game at the Twenty20 World Cup before the semifinals South Africa and Sri Lanka will meet today in Delhi at Feroz Shah Kotla in a dead rubber. Neither team can make it to the last four; they suffered bitter defeats in their last games, South Africa in front of West Indies and Sri Lanka at the hands of England with both being in strong positions towards the end of those game to win it. South Africa was the favorite of this group but the haven't clicked as a team in their most important matches those with ENG and WI. Also the wickets have been difficult for bowling (Mumbai) and for batting (Nagpur) but they have only them to blame for their failure. Still SA is a team boasting with huge quality compared to a srilankan outfit that seems very weakened to the team that won this competition two years ago. Matthews after a scintillating knock against England that almost rose SL from the dead in that match will miss today's game with a strained hamstring, also Chameera who bowled well against ENG will probably miss today's match. South African's will tinker very little with their lineup, only Duminy will surely miss and the changes that will be made if they are made will be in the bowling department. The vibes coming from the south african camp were very good, they seem to treat this match very professionaly. Sri Lanka without their captain and most important player, Angelo Matthews, should be an easy prey for the africans.
