CSM Craiova will host today HCM Baia Mare in a match from the 23th round of romanian first league. HCM Baia Mare has lost all but any chance to win the title after they succumbed in Brasov so the difference between CSM Bucharest and them is 6 points, two wins so they have to hope for Kim Rasmussen's team to one of their next 3 matches before Baia Mare will host the leaders in the last round of the championship, an impossible scenario in my opinion. Baia Mare seems to feel the same way, their most important players have officiated moves no another teams from the next season (Pineau to Brest, Abbing to Issy Paris, Jezic and Ungureanu to Bucharest, move for which Ungureanu was booed last week when BM played with Braila). But the exodus is set to continue with Geiger, Perianu or Tanasie some of the players that should also leave a team with a very uncertain future. The only games that hold meaning for them are the ones in the Champions League quarterfinals, the first leg being scheduled this saturday in Ro. I don't see any argument for a big win for BM today, the mood inside the squad is not the rosiest, even if the guests play well and lead by a big margin they will surelly rest in the final part of the game their heavy guns, also Craiova is a good team with quality players like the serbian bomber, Jelena Zivkovic. Craiova has made life difficult for Bucharest few days ago with Gogarla's team trailing by only one goal with 12 minutes to go in that match, Bucharest managing to put some daylight betweenh them and Craiova only in the final minutes of the game. I think that Craiova should have no problems covering this handicap, and I think here is room ven for a surporise even though Baia Mare is the heavy favorite.
